Medway Cohort 6 Enrolment

This Wednesday we have the enrolment day for our 6th Pre-employment programme with MDC. We have had great success in our previous ones, we are looking forward to the next cohort and getting another batch of young individuals ready for work in the construction industry.

Case Study

This Thursday and Friday we are preparing a case study to see how our efforts with the pre-employment are going. We are going to be talking to operatives who have been through our pre-employment courses, telling us about their experiences, how the course helped them and how work is going. We will also be talking to site management, getting an insight into how the new starters have impacted site and how bringing in a new wave of young construction workers is imperative to keep our industry modern and growing.

Crane Base

This week at our training facility in Gravesend we are constructing the crane base for our new and upcoming crane. This will allow OHOBTA to train new operatives in all aspects of crane operations, Slinger Signallers, Crane Supervisors and Crane Operatives.
