Role: General Operative

The OHOB pre-employment training programme is designed for people who would like to start a career in construction. It is designed to cater for people who have never worked in construction and whose job may have been displaced due to Covid-19, for people who have previously worked in construction and would like a route back into the industry and for people who are out of work and looking for an opportunity.

How is the course delivered?

The course is both classroom based, and site based at our new O’Halloran & O’Brien Training Academy in Gravesend. The academy has replicated exact site conditions to give the learner the full flavour of what to expect on a live site.

Entry requirements

Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK

Candidates must be willing to travel to the OHOB Training Academy in Gravesend DA12 2FL

Candidates must have a good work ethic, be a good team player and be will to do physical manual labour.

Progression

On successful completion of this course, suitable candidates will be offered work on OHOB sites across London, Kent, Surrey and East & West Sussex.
