CPCS Train the Trainer, Completed Pre-employment & Lots of Training

This week we have one of our trainers up in Leicester with CPCS. Training to be able to offer training CPCS accredited crane operations. This will further diversify our training portfolio and allow future trainees to gain a CPCS accredited slinger and crane operator courses here with us at OHOBTA. Good luck to Tony.

Last week our first Medway pre-employment courses ended. All who attended passed and gained their green CSCS card. Also gaining industry knowledge and accredited qualifications such as manual handling, fire marshal and traffic marshal. Having these tickets under their belt will make them more attractive to employers. Jaiden, who starred throughout the course was offered a job with us in Sittingbourne and will start this week as a Groundworks Labourer. This is what the pre-employment courses are all about, teaching new comers to the industry, giving the tools and guidance needed to get out into the world of construction and start a career.

We also have a very busy week training wise, our trainers are all over London and the Southeast, doing that they do best and sharing their knowledge to operatives out on site. Confined space, Plant marshal, Dumper, Roller, 360 Excavator and Excavation Marshal are all on the agenda this week. We look forward to all participants coming out of the training qualified and ready to build.
