Cohort 2 Continues, Academy Visit & Training this week

This week at OHOBTA….

Medway Pre-employment Cohort 2 continues 

Week 2 of our second Pre-employment programme continues this week. Last week the operatives earned their NOCN Traffic Marshal qualification, touched on a bit of carpentry and started their introduction too Health and Safety in construction. This week they will continue to work towards their CSCS test at the end of the week, do cv and interview prep and continue to learn what it takes to carve a career in construction.

DH Decorating Visit Our Academy

On Wednesday we are being visited by DH Decorating. They are coming down to view the academy, see what we do, how we do, and most importantly how we can help develop their team. We look forward to meeting them and see what we can do for them.

Training This Week

This week we continue doing what we do best, training. This week we have scheduled – Confined Space, Street Works, Temporary Works Supervisor, Slinger/Signaller. Good luck to all the operatives, our trainers will get you educated and certified.

Last week with OHOBTA ….

Last week we attended Kingston Councils Green Careers Fair. It was a great day, we met local residents and took them through what we do as a company, our career paths and our pre-employment programmes.  We also met Kingston councillors and members of the DWP who were interested in our pre-employment dedication, all parties were keen to meet and discuss how we can help the locals of Kingston who may benefit from one of our programmes. We look forward to collaborating on future projects.
