This Week at OHOBTA …

Capital City College Careers Fair – Tottenham

On Wednesday we have been invited down to Capital City college in Tottenham for a careers fair, we will be meeting the students who are ready to get into work and show them the career paths that OHOB and construction could have for them. Thankyou to Vistry for inviting us.

Thamesview School Careers Fair 

On Thursday we have been invited down to Thamesview School in Gravesend to attend their careers fair. With all year groups having an opportunity to attend, we will be there ready to showcase OHOB and the construction industry. Ready to answer any questions they have and hopefully inspire them into careers in the future.

Bermondsey Pre-employment Final Week

This week brings the second and final week of our pre-employment programme in Bermondsey, South London. Having a successful first week, we will now be gearing up the candidates to pass their CSCS card at the end of the week. With the sun out, we will get all participants through their CSCS and get them ready to the working world.

Project Visit- West Malling

Last Wednesday, Ebbsfleet Development Company (EDC) came down to visit our project in West Malling. A new take on a retirement village, the innovative design won an award, the 2024 Housing Design Award. We hope the EDC enjoyed their visit and took on some good ideas that can be used in future developments.

Training 

This week we have the following training booked in – Dumper, Cable Avoidance, SMSTS, Confined Space, Plant Marshal & Face Fit Train the Trainer.
