This week at OHOBTA…..

Bollo Lane Academy Visit

Our Acton Training Academy in West London is getting a visit this week. We are happy to say that Directors from Barratts London, TFL and even the Mayor of London are coming down to visit the academy and see what its all about. We will be doing training and a tour of the grounds. We cant wait to meet all and proudly show off our Training Academy.

Twickenham Jobs Fair

On Wednesday we are attending a jobs fair at Twickenham Jobs Centre. We will be going down to talk to the residents of Richmond and Twickenham, show them the careers we have available for them, the different routes you can take in construction and our pre-employment initiatives.

Wharlingham School Careers Fair

On Thursday we are going to Wharlingham School and Sixth form to attend their careers fair. We will be attending to show young people what construction has to offer, show them that it is indeed a valuable career option. Roll on Thursday!

NOCN Group Foundation Event

Wednesday we have been invited up to Sheffield to attend the NOCN Group Foundation Event. We have been nominated for an award. Fingers crossed we win! We thank NOCN for inviting, nominating and hosting us. Come on OHOBTA!

Training This Week

This week we have the following training ahead of us – Dumper, 360 Excavator, Confined Spaces, Cable Avoidance, Leica, Telehandler & a Taylor Whimpey Conversion Course. Good luck to all attendants.

Medway Cohort 2 Comes to an End

Last week saw the end of the second cohort with Medway Council at our site in Strood. All passed their H/S tests, acquiring their CSCS cards as well as a few other accredited qualifications such as Traffic/Vehicle Marshal, Working at Height, Fire Marshal and Manual Handling. We thank all the operatives for their attendance and wish them the best of luck in the working world.
